Getting More Joy In The Journey
From the cradle to the grave, our entire lives consist of learning, whether it be through formal education, the “school of hard knocks”, or digging into what sparks our interests.
“The school of hard knocks” often is where intellectual knowledge is transformed into something practical and relevant. It is here where we can learn the meaning and purpose of life’s lessons. Even when the journey is hard, we can learn to have Joy In The Journey.
Have you ever noticed the power of music in a movie? At just the right moments the music changes as the storylines become heightened and suspenseful. You find yourself sitting on the edge of your seat wondering what is going to happen next. Movie producers play on our emotions through the strategic placement of various sound clips. Ultimately though, music is a gift from God. Best of all, we can find hope through Christian Music.
Sometimes words fall short when you have a friend or family member who is hurting from divorce, loss of a spouse, loss of a baby, infertility, terminal illness, to name a few. To bridge the gap, a physical gift is sometimes just the ticket. Life can be hard on our emotions. Gifts of Hope and encouragement for women often speak volumes and continue to say for an extended period, “I care. I feel your pain.”
Ah, God’s creation. Such a beautiful gift. But did you know there are many benefits of nature to your well-being physically, emotionally, and spiritually?
Incubators are marvelous devices. They perform magic as they provide heat to fertilized eggs which hatch into fuzzy babies. As “eggciting” as it is to see the babies emerge, that magic requires a great amount of struggle. There is a lesson to be found in a young bird’s journey to the outside world. We may struggle too, but we can find joy after pain and hurt.
