In the Northern Hemisphere, many States and Provinces capitalize on the changing of seasons.
As the foliage abandons its green color to become yellow, orange, and brown, travel destinations find it to be a huge source of revenue.
But did you know that God has plenty to say about the changing of seasons? Called autumn by some, we can find great encouragement in Bible verses about fall.

Bible verses about fall for Christians who serve
Do you have a servant’s heart? If so you know that serving the Lord is not always an easy task.
Your gestures of love or sharing the gospel are often rejected or criticized. At times it may bring you to tears.
But don’t give up. Serving is like “sowing” or planting seeds.
“Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy! He who goes out weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.” Psalm 126:5-6. ESV
God promises joy down the road so keep on serving.
Bible verses about fall for all Christians
Every year, God should the Teacher of the Year award. In Scripture, He uses many “word pictures” to help us understand spiritual truths. Bible verses about fall are just one example.
In the fall flowers stop blooming and many grasses die as colder weather moves onto the calendar. God uses this to remind us of something very encouraging.
“The grass withers, the flower fades, BUT the word of our God will stand forever.” Isaiah 40:8 ESV
How grateful I am that I can count on Scripture to be there for me when I need it. Bible verses for fall remind me of the truth that I need in any circumstance.
God’s faithfulness is another encouraging thing we can learn from Bible verses about fall.
“While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease” Genesis 8:22 ESV
At the beginning of time, God set in motion rhythms that regulate the world we live in. It gives us a sense of stability that comes from our faithful God.
As Christians, we have a great promise that one day Jesus will return to take us to be with Him.
” … Be patient as you wait for the Lord’s return. Consider the farmers who patiently wait for the rains in the fall and in the spring. They eagerly look for the valuable harvest to ripen. … Take courage, for the coming of the Lord is near.” NLT
When seeds are planted in the spring, the farmer has to wait for the harvest.
Likewise, God has a “right time” for Jesus to return to get us. But we can be sure that just as fall eventually rolls around onto our calendars, so will the return of Jesus.
Bible verses about fall can be encouraging. It is just one way that God teaches us.
